Recently an editor of the Route 66 Pulse newspaper went through all of the trouble to make a MySpace account to get my attention! He’s going to use one of the pictures I had taken during the Fun Run.

An Old Cadillac

He wanted to use this picture for an upcoming issue and even gave me a credit line for it! Awesome! Seems like more and more great things are coming my way! Its fantastic! Plus my sista just got engaged so “\/\/007Z4|-|” leet for wootzah.

Blank Slate.

Well, as you can see, I have not posted an entry for the past month-ish. But don’t worry my friends, I’m still around. I’m just doing a blank slate for the moment. “Blank Slate?” you might ask, well I can’t think of a better description of how to say that feeling. Anyways, life for the most part is pretty good, considering i haven’t done much. But I’m not going to let it get to me. I recently went on a trip to Seligman for an event that occurred. Its called Historic Route 66 Fun Run. Its where over 700 historic cars line up on the ol’ Mother Road. And I took a butt load of pictures.

They had some pretty good looking cars there. And I also got some Route 66 memorabilia. I’m finally considering college. I’m just tired of not having friends around. Well, I think I’m gonna surf around for a while. Stagnant ain’t me, well at least not anymore.

Positive Aspects

Video blogging. Sure it sounds like something boring, but what if it could be informative? Or something that has great potential to be something bigger?

I’ve started making these video entries about applying the Secret into my life everyday and how I keep those positive aspects in my life.

I know that this doesn’t sound like me at all to be a positive person, but remember this: That is something I was, not who I am becoming. I am becoming stronger in believing myself. I am becoming a greater person and not be negative because nobody likes negativity. Why dwell it? Some people that I know that have applied the secret to their lives and not even know it.

Look forward to something positive.

Too much of negativity runs about in our world, and yet we sometimes don’t even notice it. But don’t blame yourself. Instead, look forward to something positive. Better yourself. Be thankful for the things you do have and look forward to the things you want. Eventually it’ll come to you when you least expect it. I keep a written journal next to my bed and right down things that I’m thankful for, what I want, and what I want in present tense (ex:”I Have a car” when in reality you really don’t have one). Yes, I confess. I watched The Secret. The Law of Attraction. The whatever you wanna call it. I think it works. Try it it wont bite. People who think it doesn’t work never tried it. Believe me I was skeptical about it until I watched the Secret, and now I’m the happiest I’ve been in years. i don’t let things get to me as much anymore. I don’t complain as much either. And thats always a good thing on my marker.

I’m goin Supa old school

Yes, I have gone insane. I bought 2 fedora hats, 2 very old records, and a plaid shirt. But I guess it wasn’t so bad until the rain came that is. The records I got are from the early 20th century(1917-1936). Yep, thats flippin old. I also got a hold of some fedora hats at Wal-Mart of all places. They usually don’t carry those kinds of hats, but I lucked out I guess. I also got a plaid shirt. It almost seems tailored it was so good. Well, besides the rain, today was an averagely good day.

Pesky growth.

I went and pulled weeds today. Not the smoking kind, but the kind that overtakes your yard if you don’t do something…what pesky growth. Besides that, I’ve been looking at some figuratively old music on myspace. Like Scott Joplin, and Bix Beiderbecke for example. I don’t know what compelled me to do so but I must have done it for the heck of it I guess. I just now noticed that I never put my blog entries into categories. Oh well, I think its better not to, that way the reader won’t be so boggled down with certain categories and not find the blog entry they were looking for. I need to practice some more guitar…I’ve been neglecting it all too often. I also need to do some more paintings. I said I would, its just the matter of me getting on it. Oh well.

Awesomest of old guys.

I know this doesn’t seem like me to post at around 1:38 AM but this might be an exception. I recently had a “lil road trip” on Route 66. I must say it was great. I wouldn’t mind coming back anytime. Looking back and reflecting on all of the viewpoints to this humble, but powerful strip of road suddenly made something snap in my head. Finally! Inspiration for me to do some art! Yes I know, how? Why? …What? Well, All of this time I have been trying to find something to get inspired to do artwork. Sure I did a photo here, and a drawing here. But I needed something to get my creative juices going. And when I visited Angel Delgadillo, “The Guardian Angel of Route 66″, I saw the passion and love for what was proudly part of his home town. He also had a lil Interview on the “Inspiration for Cars” video thats on the Cars DVD. I must say, he has got to be one of the most awesomest of old guys. He gave me a haircut while I was there. While that happened, a bus load of Japanese people came in looking around and conversing themselves about certain things hanging in the room. Angel had to stop for a moment and get their attention to show them certain celebrities In Japan that they might know. And he spoke Japanese as well! That was truely something I wasn’t expecting. I also recently added some photos in my flickr account shown down below at the bottom left hand side. Well, anyways, I realized what I needed to get my creative juices going and now I’m painting left and right without pre-drawing, or even looking at anything really. I just come up with places at the top of my head and create on canvas. Hopefully soon I’ll take some pics of them. In the mean time you’ll just have to put up with my typing of random, but maybe informative info. (not really, just random)

Seems like I can’t commit to doing a post everyday. Oh well. This statement is deja vu to me. Anyways, I got a hold of the movie Protector, and I must say that is one action packed movie. I loved it, now if only I can get a hold of that Fearless movie. My sister got a hold of some movies as well, although I can’t really remember what they were. Oh well. I say that a lot. I just now noticed that. Seems as though I’m in and out of mind.

…And now I remembered what it was. I guess its unfortunate that I can’t even commit to making a blog entry at least once everyday. Oh well. I’ve been at a horizontal line feeling today. Kind of an in between feeling. I made a CD for my mom. Random I know but she wanted a CD full of hard rock. Yes, hard rock. I gave her the raising eyebrow look wondering why? And she said simply,”For my car of course.” I just shrugged my shoulders and said,”Whatev.” and made her one.Its kind of interesting that I have a mom that likes hard rock music when she should really like music from the 70s or 80s. Eh, but i can’t say anything. I’m the one who likes the 40s music here.

Floral Shirts

It usually depends on what kind of floral shirt you get. If you get a rose floral, which is usually intended for gardeners and ladies, or for those guys that are a bit different can be fine. But I on the other hand, wear the type of floral shirts that are tropical, in other words Hawaiian. I wear them on occasion when its either dad blasting hot, or I know that I’m not going to go anywhere, which happened both today and yesterday. “Whats the point in this post” you may ask? Well, I really don’t have an explanation to answer that. I’m just trying to make up for what I didn’t do thats all. Anyways, I suddenly have an urge to have some Hawaiian Punch.
